Are you kidding? On my Bday, you ask if this, my all-time fave album, contains the most beautiful song?
Of course, easily. What a blast over the past 33 years, "still Atumn falls, see breezes call.....abundant at your feet!" Heart
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

I love the track, but Benedictus is even more beautiful.
A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life.

A lot of very nice nostalgia with this track.

there really ae only those 2 choices.  I chose beautiful, because it's not quite as beautiful as Benedictus

I prefer "The hangman and the papist" from this band's output.
There are many other great bands and tracks so no, it's not the best ever IMO.

Too wishy washy. Dead
My Strawbs favourites are The Man Who Called Himself Jesus, Round & Round, Simple Visions & Ghosts.

simple visions rocks...great live version on concert classics.  Was it a predecessor to the jangly college rock of the 80s and 90s?   Did Peter Gabriel rip off the central riff for "Solsbury Hill"

Same thing here.

Off the album I'd choose the title track which is really brillian (Hero and Heroine I mean).

Cut Like a Diamond rocks more ... both Deeps Cuts and Burning are very good record in my humble opinion.
