Unfortunately, I do not know where to get legal samples. There are a few tracks floating around Youtube, but I didn't post them here because it may be a violation of a PA rule (not sure). I'll let you know if I find any.

Do you know where to get legal samples, Stooge? - there is no myspace page available what I can see and the official site lacks of demos too ...

Has Alphonso Johnson's name been in discussion for inclusion in the Jazz/Rock fusion section of PA?
He perhaps is most famous for being bassist on a few Weather Report albums, but he also released three solo albums in the 70s, "Moonshadows", "Yesterday's Dreams", and "Spellbound". Each of these three albums I'd say fit into the jazz fusion category though some pieces are very prog-like in structure. For those who aren't familiar with him, here's his Wikipedia page. There is a link to his website at the bottom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonso_Johnson Edited by Stooge - May 21 2009 at 11:39 |
