Can't give youa link here but it permeates that one of the best bassists around Uli trepte passed away

Early Guru Guru woulmd have been so phenomenal without his awesome bass work.

If Spacebox was allright, I still had promised myself to include one day his Move Groove albums in his name page

RIP Uli

keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,

rather than un-sheath our sword

I've listened to Uli's Spacebox albums in the past, but Guru Guru is still a virgin land for me. Something to be discovered though in the near future..

And the sequence of great losses goes on for the older legends of prog. The drama of this year started with uruguayan drummer Gustavo Farrugia (of Crucis fame), and now it's the time for one major contributor in the heavy side of krautrock. GURU GURU, particularly in the earlier albums, became a crucial name in the build-up and enhancement of that sort of special experimental rock defined in the guitar-oriented areas of krautrock.

Thank you for the music, MASTER ULI!
Your power and creativity live on in the albums... and people will listen to them forever!!
