Oh and don't forget IT! Don't know why, but I'm a sucker for good use of a recorder!

Thanks!

just an update:  we in HeavyProg are impressed with the prog quotient on Livestock and will probably add Fraternity based on this debut..  BTW this is a terrific album of old vintage prog, thank you to American Progster for the heads-up, would've been easy to reject them based on the first two cuts but 'Raglans Folly', 'Grand Canyon Suites', 'Jupiter's Landscape' and 'You Have a God' are excellent early prog

Just going to bump this one. I'm very serious about the inclusion of this band.

Well I think Cross-Over will probably be the best place to start, other than that I'm still thinking Heavy Prog (but I'm starting to back away from that) and of course PR if all else fails. But I would like to see the Cross-Over team give them a spin first.

ThanksThumbs Up

That was a joke. But you know that Bon's presence will be a prime (if unconscious) motivator for much opposition.

That, and having given it a few listens ... well, it sounds like early 70s rock in that it was going beyond 12 bar blues, and boy/girl lyrics. But prog is a stretch.

Nope! That's Okay. The fact is, Fraternity was a very prog band. Sure on their second album part of it was blues/boogie, but most of it wasn't and their first album imo was 100% prog. So I hope not to see any arguments against them just because Bon Scott was their singer.

This is a great band. They are mostly known for having Bon Scott as their singer, who of course joined AC/DC in 1974 and played with them until his death in 1980. Its hard for me to tell what genre they may be apart of, maybe crossover or heavy prog? They definitely had a lot of psychedelia in their music.

Here's a quick bio of them and if anyone is interested I have their two albums.
