Does anyone have an opinion on which CD release of his albums is the best? Specifically Fish Rising and Green.
I have the Virgin 2007 remasters of both but I read that the Fish Rising one (not sure if it is the case with Green also) has "reduced trebles and dynamics" and that the original LP is pretty much better. I bought the Japanese mini LP of Fish Rising to compare it as I have the Nektar ones and they are great, but it seemed to be exactly the same.
How about the older CD releases? Are they better than the remasters? I know the LP is probably better but i'm after a CD specifically. Thanks.
