American band from Mississippi that released an album, Slychedelia in 2008.
Suggested for Heavy Prog Bio from http://www.myspace.com/slychosisprog Slychosis is the musical brainchild of Gregg Johns. Johns is the primary composer, vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist. Contributing musicians include Todd Sears (drums and vocals on the first album), James Walker (bass and vocals), Jeremy Mitchell (drums and percussion), Chip Griffith (saxophone and wind controller), and Ceci Smith (guest vocalist). Vladimir Moldavsky is providing wonderful surreal graphics and visual inspiration to the music. Although Slychosis is essentially a recording project, Johns hopes to put together a live entourage to perform a few shows after the second album is completed. Despite personal upheavals and revolving personnel, the second album is close to completion. The instrumental, "Harps of Space" featured on the MySpace Player will appear on the new album, "Slychedelia." http://www.slychosis.com/ |

they have been under observation, Assaf
Slychedelia - an album consisting of multiple impressions - just a tricky decision - the psych/space team voted MOVE - I personally tend to crossover or eclectic ... |
