do you guys feel it's okay to down load an album in this way............

you don't consider it theft?

I live 60miles from a record store........a pretty crummy one at that..........I am assuming that you have access to the internet??? (duh!) why don't you buy the albums rather than take them?

crazy.

down loading in this way threatens future releases, (not to mention the rooves over the musicians heads!!!)

simply flippin crazy.

I have the privilege of knowing Nick Barrett of Pendragon - and I would like to tell you this - he has sold many of his own persoanl possessions to enable the release of the new album "Believe". He is down 20,000 quid before the album is even out. He has bills to pay and a family to feed just like everyone else. How on earth do you expect Nick and others like him to keep releasing albums when you deprive them of what is rightfully theirs? If you love a band support them by buying their albums - not by making public announcements of how you would like to rip them off. Just remember that the day may come when many of the bands you love will no longer be around coz it is simply not feasible to keep making albums which bring precious little returns. Support the bands you love by buying their music.

Cheers
