And from MySpace: Jon Anderson is not part of the lineup on this tour; click here for info on Jon's solo activities.

I was wondering whether I should be interested in the Paris concert. But at 64 euro the cheapest ticket, my answer to Yes is NO! LOL

Same thing. 50 euros AND Jon, I would have gone. But a Yesshow without J. and at that price is nearly a swindle.

Of course, there are no US shows... on an European tour.

But there will be some US shows :

This will be the first Yes tour I have missed since the original Yes In The Round. I even saw, and hated, the Drama tour, but I'm sorry, I simply refuse to see a band I love without the main reason I love them and a tribute singer taking his place.

I know it's terribly narrow minded of me, but I really cannot face it.

I would definitely go, but its a bit too expensive for me. Anderson is not the main reason I like Yes anyway.

Off now to take my little boy to bed, but before I do, and I will respond to any other post tomorrow, I will just say that Wakeman (senior) did say after they both left following Tormato that losing JA was a lot more than a mere one fifth of the band. I agree

I'm presuming you didn't like Drama. Well I did, plus I like Rabins singing for Yes too.  But if you can't see or here them without Anderson. Definitely the right decision not to go.Wink

Pardon me, but the latest five or so tours was strictly American - It is high time they came back to UK and Europe

No Polish dates, but at THAT price - I am not sure whether I will go and see the show
yet you still have time!

Who cares? They kicked out Anderson. f**k them, I'm not going to any of their shows, even when they do hit the US. Chris Squire should be ashamed of himself, supporting the decision to axe his co-founding band mate.

Thumbs Down

I have no idea why they kicked out Anderson out, but it has happened a lot with e.g. Styx kicking out Dennis DeYoung, Kansas letting go Robbie Steinhardt, Van Der Graaf Generator no longer including David Jackson etc.

I saw VDGG, David Jackson was not missed as it gave the others more breathing space so to speak, but I also saw Styx on TV and DeYoung's lack of presence was noticable in a negative manner.

Not kicked out: he was ill and the rest of the band didn't have the patience of letting him getting well. Or so I understood.
