Just wait until they actually manage to actually get fishes to grow beards or failing that get beards to stick to fishes.  No, you cannot borrow mine for the experimentation. Tongue
A penny for my thoughts and yet I have to put my two cents in. What the hell is wrong with this equation?

The new one is half filled with amazing songs, half filled with fluff. I would rate it worse than the sleeping in traffic part 2, which is a shame. The songs that are good on the album are BETTER than anything i've heard from them before, but the weaker songs really pull it down.

What do you consider fluff on this album? To my ears, there isn't a single track that doesn't have at a handful of charming, memorable qualities to it. But maybe I'm a bit biased, as I'm the artist for the Destined Solitaire Pacakging!

I'm a bit surprised that the reception of Destined Solitaire seems to be a bit lukewarm right now. Hoping this trend will change. It's their most adventurous effort to date while maintaining the 'friendly familiarity' of everything they've done before. This fact seems to be lost on progarchives, where I thought it would be understood the most. Does anyone agree this is their BEST album and a clear summation AND progression of everything that came before?

I have noticed a commun observation on the quality of Beardfish album in general. There's some weaker songs on those albums. And that's what i feel also with the new album . But i think the new one has the strongest songs they have made. (IMO)

Once again, what is weak on this album? Every track keeps my attention thoroughly! Also, how many of you are BUYING this puppy?

I think the album is great through and through.  I just discovered Beardfish and I don't think that they could put something out that I would be "lukewarm" about.  These guys are just the band I have been looking for for a long time!
