ahmshere is a Dutch progressive/symphonic band from the regions of
Rotterdam Near the end of 2006 Rien, Rich, Marco en Paul start with,
the band AhmShere. All of them musicians who have had several
experiences in different bands, as well live and in the studio and
looking for a new serious musical experience. One asset of the
cooperation was clear from the beginning: the end result of the music
should be more important than the ego of the individual musician.
AhmShere is still growing further in being a powerfull band with not
just noticable musical backgrounds and influence, but also one merged
sound of all of them together. As of 2007 AhmShere started working out
several selfmade compostions and raw material into complete songs. This
resulted in the first try-outs an studio recordings for the scheduled
first album. Because al the material is composed without any vocals and
the band feels that this would be an essential part to complete the
desired soundscape, the band desided to look out for an extra
bandmember/vocalist.

Recently (in addition to the last sentence) bass player Rich decided to give a go at singing. 
Currently works on their debut CD are in progress.
