Only heard 5 of those, plus some singles from his later albums.
It's a tie between his debut and Abraxas. Today I'll go with Abraxas..

Nice poll.
Caravanserai followed by Borboletta.
Abraxas and the self-titled hold the strongest sentimental value (two of the most important albums from my teen-years). Highly enjoyable music, and a very important artist to my musical journey.

from this list I don't think you can beat the debut, never was blown away by Caravanserai.. I also like Blues for Salvador (that's a solo project BTW), and the live Sacred Fire

Abraxas. Simply excellent from start to finish.
No other Santana album is so consistent.

Haven't heard all of these, but of the ones I have...Caravanserai.
III and the debut are also fantastic, and I really like Borboletta.

One of the easiest polls ever. I like most of Santana but Caravanserai is so good I can't think of a suitably superlative adjective.
I've always thought of it as a concept album. The concept is essentially musical rather than lyrical but it is about love which makes it a nice contrast to the themes of insanity, depression, war and evil that tend to dominate concept albums. Also Santana was a fine band in those days and not just a guitarist.
One of the best albums of all time and if you haven't heard it - get a copy instantly.

Yup, Borboletta often gets a bad rap for cheesiness, but it's the closest to Caravanserai.
The first three albums are indeed excellent as well and I've got many memories linked to them 3

Some of Santana's best music came off of "Santana III".

I went to "Moonflower". The song of Greg Walker is wonderful.

I've only heard 4 of these, but I can't imagine any of them being better than Caravanserai. that album is absolutely amazing.
"Oneness" wasn't in this poll, but that one's great too. It's a Devadip solo album, so I don't know if it qualifies as a Santana band album.
