2 years old list. Now it is about 250-270 books I suppose. I didn't count child books though, even some of them are really good. Little Prince by Exupery is something I've read, but do not remember well. As with a lot of these, only feelings are left.
(you won't understand Czech names (collumn three) and translations (column 4 are only with some of them), but you will understand artists.)

It's nice to have another SF fan around You had read all that Terry Pratchett?  My sincere recommendations are going for anything by Robert A. Heinlein. And John Cristopher's 'No Blade Of Grass' if you liked Wyndham's triffids. And Walter M. Miller Jr.'s 'Canticle For Leibowitz', one of the best SF books ever written. There's more, but I won't clog the thread.

Aren't we all sci-fi fans? I thought that went hand in hand with being a prog-rock fan...maybe we need a poll?

I wanted to read Heinlein, at least his famous Starship Troopers (different from film), but this goddamn library lacks his work, except one book. Update: Five books, one of them The Puppet Masters (I saw film).
I read Roger Zelazny's Amber now, slowly cutting through forest of his books (2nd book currently). Pratchett, hehe. I've read almost all of them, unfortunately, he won't write more and so I want to keep some unread to enjoy them later. I want to enhance this list to include "will read in future" books, to include these that I already read since two years ago. Thanks.

Common Ian, no need to be ironic, reading is good, even it is quite drug. But to the hell with drugs, there are good drugs and bad drugs. Adrenaline is drug too and some of us like it :-)

Could you tell me what program you used to make that list? Was it just a traditional word processor? Never bothered to really use one before.

Nowadays, I use Open Office Calc and Lighter toned Windows XP settings, but back then, I used MS Excel and Darker theme. Do you know / like any of these books ?

I've read a few hundred by now ... I used to read one a week, but the past few books I've read have all been around the 1000 word count. These days my favorite genre is Historcal Fiction, and I'm loving authors like James Clavelle, Ken Follet, Sharon Kay Penman, Guy Gavriel Kay, and Neil Stephenson (each who have a very different take on the genre).

That should say 1000 page count.

I do too. During the school year, I read only three books in my free time, I think. I'm hoping to make up for that during the summer.
