Hermann Szobel was jazz fusion pianist who released only one album in 1976 entitled "Szobel" at the age of 18. After the release of his album he vanished from the music world. His music was ahead of its time and his piano playing was unbelievably virtuosic. His compositions are complex and comparable to the work of Frank Zappa.
I was surprised that he's only mentioned very briefly in the Rascal Reporters biography as an influence and nowhere else on the site (couldn't find him anywhere).
Just wanted to share this incredible music with the Prog Archives community.
