I don't believe in life after death, nor am I afraid to die. - Me

Neil is thrilled he can claim he's a mammalian
"but the bad news," he said "Girl you're a dandelion."
Dandelion. Hey I need to think about that.
Yeah, I thought about that and I said, "What the Hell?"
He said, "Nope, you are Earth bound, blow them seeds away
maybe one will make a sound."

I'm sure that thhere's sone sort of existance after death, but I don't fancy the process of dying. I've heard it stings a bit.

Am I afraid of dying? I don't think so. It's hard to fear something that is eventual. I could die in the next five minutes for all I know. I think it's better to just not think about and just keep living rather than fear the inevitable. Thumbs Up

I believe in an afterlife, but I don't see why that would make me fear death any less.

I don't believe in afterlife.
And I'm not afraid of death, not even a bit.
I'm only afraid of dying.
The very moment of losing consciousness.
Hence, I prefer a sudden bullet rather than a slow fade-out.
Preferably a jealous husband's bullet when I'm 90.

And when I die
And when I'm gone
There will be
one child born
in this world
to carry on.

I don't believe the spirit carries on, and yet I don't fear death. But that's only because I'm a badass.

I don't know what I believe in and that's why I'm afraid of death. And I just know I should try to figure it out in case it happens soon.

Oh, and what's gonna happen to my record collection if I die? How do I know it'll be properly loved as it deserves? Wink

I am too in much in fear to think about any conclusions regarding life after death. During my high school days, a young man 3 years older than me decided to take his own life. He convinced his 2 closest friends to bound his hands and feet and surfboard him into a lake. He claimed that he would be resurrected from the dead and that he would be in command of an infernal legion. And he would be in charge of 40 legions of demons. Instead of rising from the dead, he drowned. and his friends were charged with murder. This happened about 37 years ago and it puts things into perspective for me regarding life after death.
