Best pop female vocalist ever.

"Magma was the very first gothic rock band" (Didier Lockwood)

She is certainly under rated in many respects and as far as her music goes, well I think it's a whole lot more progressive and creative than many of the so called progressive rock bands that are allowed to be posted as prog rock acts on this site. Many of the heavy metal acts that qualify as prog acts are nothing more than noise to me, but then that's another story.

Yup.  She created her own world.  Only a small percentage of bands, progressive or otherwise, pull that off.

In my humble opinion, Kate Bush is a genius. 'Nuff said. Big smile

Her album 'The Dreaming' is a fun listen and 'Never for Ever' has some good stuff on it as well. Hell, all her albums have a little something special on them.

I have all of her albums, a couple of singles, a boot DVD and a 4-CD boot with her live stuff, soundtrack work, and non-LP songs that were lifted from the box set "This Woman's Work".
