Have you heard of Hacride? http://www.hacride.com They are a French heavy metal band, formed in 2001 with musicians coming from an array of different bands, musical interests and genres. Their sound has progressed from the raw extremes and ludicrous time signatures of technical death metal to one that is becoming more and more progressive and alternative with every take. They have not toured extensively in the UK yet, but are coming over in October for two dates: the first in Alton (2nd) and the second in Camden Purple Turtle (3rd).

The support in Alton is Fell Silent http://www.myspace.com/fellsilentwho are a leading sound in their genre and an exciting band in their own right, and the main support in Camden is Godsized: a great band gaining notoriety with each live performance under their belt.

Supporting the gigs on both nights is a collection of great underground bands too, all from the Hampshire area. Putting the gigs on themselves to support a band that they admire and to open up their sound to new audiences are the following:

Maiea http://www.myspace.com/maiea: Drawing influences from a wide range of musical styles they combine them into an involving and often moving musical soundscape. Check them out to fully comprehend what you have just read.

Sinuism http://www.myspace.com/sinuism: Heavy, unrelenting and marching towards gaining a huge respect in their local area and beyond, this is a band that understand the technicalities of metal and meets it head on.

Alternative Carpark http://www.myspace.com/alternativecarpark: Pigeon-holing this band into anything is equally awkward, but they encompass rock/punk and metal in every set and have a reputation for one of the most consistently energetic and raw live performances in the area.

If you know any of these bands then you'll know what a big deal it is for us. If you would be able to support us in making these gigs a success then spread the word, get a ticket and bring your Gran.

Everything you will need is below for helping us. If you can re-post info about the gig in a forum you visit, post a link on Facebook or on MySpace then it will all help.

Thanks for any help, come down and get metal with us!

Hello!!

A friendly face over the interweb, a wonderful thing.

It hasn't, Alton is all-ages, but Camden is 18+

Thanks for the flyer insert, having spent that long doing it, might as well use it :-)
