Because you're comment at the top of the page sucked..............................

Nah, I didn't even take that test anyway. I got my round about figure of 17.5KHz from using the sine wave/tone test generator in Ableton Live and of course I'm not silly enough to believe that's a substitute for a real hearing test anyway.

My hearing is still very functional but I worry about when I'm older. Our drummer from those days of rattling windows has some serious problems already.

I don't even know how anyone can turn up to a band rehearsal/jam anymore without ear plugs. It's just painful after the playing session. The fact my ears don't hurt afterwards is half the reason for me to wear ear plugs, let alone just how it protects my hearing anyway.

I can hear up to 21.1KHz. Shocked

More realistically I can hear 18.8Khz. with a clear noise.  I can still hear noise up to 21.1KHz. but I'm not sure what the noise is.

I don't mean the clicks either.

I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but I honestly don't find it possible for a 29 year old dude like yourself to be able to hear 21.1KHz.
As it is, most newborn kids couldn't even hear over 20KHz. Unless you were born with super hearing and could probably hear 25KHz when you were really young, it's incredibly unlikely you could hear even over 19KHz anymore if you live anywhere in the western world where there is heaps of noise and crap.

Well as I said, 18.8KHz. is where there's clear noise.  Above that I can hear noise and I'm not referring to the clicks that are apparent at the beginning and the end.

I wouldn't bullsh*t you, Harry.

This is what is says when you click the radio button for being able to hear 21.1 KHz:

You are a dog
Or maybe you are a mosquito, you certainly can't be human. Confused

I know what it says.

But I still can hear a faint remnant.

Maybe it's not actually a tone I hear but rather something else, like Mike was mentioning earlier.

I hear nothing whatsoever on the highest frequency.

It could be my headphones but they're new.

I also made sure the volume was on its lowest setting too.

I'm not quite sure if I hear better out of one of my ears but I'm pretty sure my left earhole is bigger than my right one.

I had my hearing checked and I basically rode the line as far as what is considered good or bad hearing so my hearing is borderline. Within the past 6 months , I feel like it is harder to hear so I think I have slipped into the hearing impaired group although mildly, which still sucks, since music is very important to me.

don't know exactly what everybodies is saying about... but is a cientific fact that most humans hear better with out left ear... so, if you don't have injuries or fisical problems, your left ear should be working better... It's a fact that when most producers mix the stereo, they put on the left head-phone the most important instrument or riff... so... hail the left earers...!!! wait... all of us have it right...??? jejeje..

16.7 kHz for me for both ears. It says I should be about 20 years old and I am 20 years old. I'm perfectly fine with that. As for volumes, both ears are equal within the realm of what I can discern.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.
