Discovered Curtys Mayfield/Live !(1971) not long ago.
Maybe the best soul live record ever.

Also New World Order a few years back, when
Clapton received the award for blues album of the
year he said he would accept it but Curtis Mayfields
New World Order was the blues album of the year.
Pretty interesting record by a very underappreciated
artist.

Rhino redid the first three Curtis solo albums....it's good to see these CDs back in record stores

"Beautiful Brother of Mine" from the third LP, "Roots"....the man could write!
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
