We are now accepting pre-orders of Whispers and Screams, the follow-up to our 2007 debut, Welcome to the Freakroom. The new release is available at a special pre-order price of $9.99, until November 1st when the CD will be officially released.

Several streaming samples of the new songs have been made available (http://www.shadowcircusmusic.com/audio). Included are clips from the 33-minute “Project Blue”, a progressive rock epic inspired by the Stephen King novel The Stand. The band has also posted the cover artwork by illustrator Randy Pollack and  photographer Brian Silak.

Thanks to all for the kind words and pre-orders! Be sure to check out the interview Eric just posted...

Of course, many of the collaborators and admins here will get reviewer's copies, but why not buy some for friends and family, too! Wink

Hi John.  I'm not sure if you have any intentions of touring or playing live, but if you think of coming to Michigan, a place that you might consider is the Magic Bag in Ferndale.  http://www.themagicbag.com/
I've seen Tiles, Discipline and Matthew Parmenter there, and when Peter Hammill came to town this is where he played.

I ordered one for a friend as well. You're a good salesman John. Wink (It doesn't hurt to have a quality product as well)

I'll throw in support to Scott's suggestion as well. The Magic Bag is a great location, and it is Discipline's home base in a way. Ann Arbor has the people that would appreciate you, but unfortunately there really isn't a good venue for a prog band. I was having this very discussion with Matthew Kennedy and Paul Dzendzel, and we couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks for your order, HT, you rock!

And thanks for the tip on the Magic Bag. I'm making notes of all possible venues for when the time comes. We'll be rehearsing for live shows soon, and will play some in the NY/NJ/Philadephia area at first, then probably look to get out of town and on the road sometime in the Spring (fingers crossed)...

Yeah, me too. I'll have to make good on one of these threats to head out east for a show. My best friend moved to from Manhattan to Brooklyn, so he has more space for guests now. LOL

Well, NY is a definite!

Cool, Mike! I think you'll dig this one - we definitely spent a lot more time on the production and writing this time around - 2 years as opposed to maybe 6 months on the first one...
