Hot on the heels of Iceburn, I would like to suggest Mansun, a group from Chester, who were my favourite band for a while, for inclusion on PA too.
Does anyone here remember Mansun? They actually had a number 1 record in the UK so they're not that obscure. In their tragically short lifetime they only made three LPs, the third of which was not prog at all but the first was quite prog and the second was totally prog. Both of these first two LPs were excellent in my opinion.

Discog: Attack Of The Grey Lantern (1997)
Six (1998)
Little Kix (2000, but ignore this one, it was an ill-fated attempt to go commercial)

Someone listen to Six and Attack Of The Grey Lantern in their entirety and then tell me they don't belong here.

You'll be glad to know that a previous discussion did occur and apparently many collabs agree with you.  I'm not sure why they weren't added however.  Possible oversight.  http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=51639&KW=mansun&PID=2962556#2962556

I HAVE to link this to my brother! He's going to be so disturbed about having an album by a band considered as progressive!
