I just listened, and would think of Symph first (I don't if your team has come to a decision on this as it's not a "new" suggestion). For me it lacks the "edge" I would generally expect from an Eclectic band.

I just came back from Budapest and found some great prog there , here is one very good symphonic/Eclectic/Crossover possibility
