I've only heard "Areknamés" and "Wicked Minds" from Italy so far, but "Areknamés" are one of my favorite bands of today. This thread is great, I will check out some of these bands! Had no idea there were so many prog bands in Italy at the moment haha :D

A NEW ROCK OPERA FROM SARDEGNA
Guitarist and composer Andrea Cutri, from Oristano, has just released a rock opera, “Eterno Divenire – L’amore di Barrett & Browning”. Among the musicians involved in this project there are also Tony Levin, Gavin Harrison and Piero Marras.
