never heard of them, but both are cool album names (and band names are cool too) Right now I think Asia's Alpha is a bit cooler, so I vote for that.

Neither belong to my favourites, but Big Generator has some more nice moments, like Love Will Find A Way, Shoot High Aim Low and The Rhythm Of Love.
Both albums sound like less inspired carbon copies of their sensational predecessors: "Asia" and "90125" respectively.

Yes, it's always nice to have your spokesmen on the site, isn't it? It saves time

One for the Big G. Even mediocre Yes is pretty darn good.

Both are equally unremarkable.
Alpha had a nice cover though...

Big Generator by a country mile (that's a lot BTW). The ASIA stuff is just too sweet (sappy). At least Big G has three really strong tunes, Rhythm Of Love, Shoot High Aim Low and I'm Running.

I'll go with Alpha here. I understand why BG gets pissed on, but Alpha was nearly as good as the first Asia offering.

Alpha is a 4 star album. Big Generator is a 2 star album if I'm being generous.

Fog is "in the clear" on this one. BG doesn't deserve the sl*gging it gets.

I find both albums rather uninteresting. However the song I like most on both of them (by far) is Holy Lamb, so I go for Big G. I guess it would have been more interesting 90210 vs Asia (yes, I know I got the numbers wrong, but I just can't learn the right numbers for that Yes album)

Holy Lamb is the only real high for me on BG, whilst Alpha does at least have Midnight Sun, Never in a Million Years, so Alpha for me.

I first thought that this was going to be who's better. I went with the Big G.
