Shocked

Eno revealed on radio in May 2009 that a skin graft he received as treatment for a severe burn on his arm was part human skin, part carbon fibre. He explained that as human skin is based on carbon, the experimental treatment was likely going to work out well for him, in spite of the fact that he feels a lightness in the affected arm.[17]

Also, make another album (this time not with David Byrne)

As a long time Eno fan, I always assumed he was naturally a cyborg.  Now you're telling me he's newly a cyborg???  This is more than I can take. TongueLOL
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

He did the last terminator soundtrack. There's a recording where Christian Bale tells him to stop playing synth during his solo.Supposedly Bale thinks he's a nice guy but their done professionally.

And what, pray tell, is wrong with Eno/Byrne albums?

They're more like Talking Heads albums than Eno albums. I want more slow and peaceful music, not jumpy and bouncy.

Actually the newest Eno/Byrne album is a different creature from the first one, although I could go with the argument that both bear strong resemblances to Talking Heads at different stages.

Bush In The LIfe Of Ghosts is gorgeous.
Everything That Happens Will Happen Today is weak.

Besides, both me and Stonebeard meant to say, anyway, that we want a new solo Eno album.
