For those of you who are missing us in November... we have some good news!

WE are kicking off a full North American headlining tour this coming January.  Produced by Live Nation and presented by Killer Tours, the winter whirl will uncork on January 8, 2010 in Nashville, TN and feature support from
CYNIC, DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, and SCALE THE SUMMIT

Charlotte NC  pre sales begin on Wednesday, October 28 at 10:00 AM EDT (password: "misdirect").

All all other sales will begin October 30 through November 1 depending on the city...

I'm seeing BtBaM in about 2 weeks, but I'm still definitely going to the Louisville show for this. Mostly because of DEVYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Big smile

Yeah so this will pretty much be the best tour ever and I don't even like DT. January will be awesome.

I can't believe Devin Townsend is coming to New Orleans, never even thought he'd come close.  I was planning on having to drive at least to Houston to see him.  This is almost too good to be true.

So I'm looking for Devin Townsend tour info and came across that he's #2 on a lineup of

Scale the Summit
Devin Townsend
Cynic
BTBaM

Unreal!!!!
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

David (birdwithteeth) is overly ecstatic for this; he asked me to go, but I'm still not too wild about it and leaning towards no.

I despise BTBAM with a passion (and yes, I've tried so many times you wouldn't believe it). I love Devy. Cynic and StS are meh. Consequently, I'm a bit torn.

There's already a thread for this tour, but yeah it's gonna be great.

According to Devin, his slot is only 30 minutes long which is a real shame.  This will be my first time seeing him, it's sure to be a great show anyway though.

This is a hard decision for me, because I'm really wanting to see Cynic and Devy more than the others. I saw StS on ProgNation and they're technically amazing, but a little boring. Like one other person said, I've tried very hard to get into BtBaM and I just can't. I don't like hardcore or metalcore and even though I recognize that they're really talented, it's just not the style I like.

Only 30 minutes of Devy...travelling 6 hours to Louisville or Chicago from St. Louis...we'll see. If they came here I'd be all over it.

I would much rather just see BTBAM play alone for 2 hours, maybe with Cynic opening. Scale the Summit is boring and I don't care for Devin Townsend. I wonder how much time BTBAM gets. I'd love to drive to San Fran to see them again.

This is a killer lineup, I've already made plans with my friend who lives close to the venue that we're going to see it. He's not a fan of metal with harsh singing, but he wants to expand his mind and this will be killer!

I just returned from the show in Houston at the Meridian and it was FANTASTIC!! First off, Devin is even better after a 3 year hiatus than he was before, not even the plague of sound difficulties stopped him and the band from performing to the utmost. I was able to meet the drummer RVP and HevyDevy himself after the show - both class acts and truly appreciative of their fans.

Cynic was intense. They performed flawlessly and have such depth with their clean and heavy vocals. I was always thrown off by the synthesized vocals on "Focus" - and probably the Morrisound production for that matter - but live it works.
