Hi,

I am having a problem. Hope someone can help me.

On the Deluxe Edition of ELP's Pictures at an Exhibition there is a bonus track on the end of disc one.

It is listed as "Pictures at an Exhibition (Medley)" with a length of around 15 mins which I assume was supposed to be the version from "In The Hot Seat" and alos included on the PAAE remaster.

However the track is over 30min long and is an early version of PAAE in full recorded live somwhere.

Does anybody know any more details about this track as I am stumped. It has cannons at the end but it sounds a bit rough for the Isle of Wight version. The warm up version from Plymouth perhapds?

Here's hoping someone knows       Confused

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but here is a link to AllMusic which has a writeup on the Deluxe Edition.  http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:gzftxzqkldke

Its probably the original release, thatb the band were not pleased  with (its from the film) so they rerecorded it in Newcastle.
