Recommend me alt-prog like Karnivool, Rishloo,Tool

Hey, right now I'm trying to find new alternative rock/metal bands with progressive influences. That is, bands similar to:
Karnivool
Fair to Midland
Rishloo
Opus Dai
A Perfect Circle
3
Coheed & Cambria
Cog
The Butterfly Effect

I love Tool, too. Actually found out about Rishloo and Opus Dai, lurking around on this board, reading the "I like Tool, recommend me this..." threads. I really the vocals of these bands (high, clear, not a terrible lot of screaming, which is a turn off to me. Less is more; the right amount of screaming can really add emotion and intensity to a song. Case in point:  Maynard on "The Pot").

Other bands that I like, for your reference, are Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, John Frusciante's solo stuff, the Mars Volta, Indukti (not what I've heard of Idmen [myspace tracks], because of the vocals), Riverside to an extent, some Fall of Troy,

I just got into Mastodon's Crack the Skye and Blood Mountain, and Opeth's Watershed. Oh, and I'm also listening to Isis and I'm digging it, even though the singer growls a bit much.

I've got Dredge and Oceansize on my to-research list

I apologize for the stream-of-consciousness type post (I always hated reading Joyce and Faulkner myself), but I hope this gives you a feel for what I'm looking for. I'd appreciate your input!

	Ahh, nearly had to change pants at 3:52 of Dead Soul Tribe's "Some Things You Can't Return" with that little thing bumpin along in the background. 	Can't agree more with the rec of Devin Townsend. Most of his stuff can take a few listens because of his wall of sound production, but its some of the greatest music in the lighter side of metal (his other band Strapping young Lad are great too, but very heavy with alot of growling) Anathema are quite good also, mostly the later stuff though.

	Comaah didn't tickle my fancy when I played their tracks on myspace. I just didn't like Devin Townsend that much, maybe 'cause I wasn't in the mood for humorous prog (didn't like his voice either). But I'll give them both some more spins!

	I've listened to a little Cire before, and I wasn't terribly interested. I still feel the same about Comaah and Devin Townsend. But I ordered Prisma's album from Switzerland! I think I'll go on Amazon and look for Suns of the Tundra's Tunguska and Dead Soul Tribe's A Murder of Crows as well. Found another band on my own: the Chronicles of Israfel. It's good stuff I still need to look up Oceansize thoroughly; I've been pretty distracted

	Well simply judging from the bands you've listed as enjoyable...how do you like Edge of Insanity, Ulver, Pelican, and Isis? The bands I've listed are all on the fringe of main-stream and progressive metal.
