Seems Gabriel's 'Scratch My Back' project will see the light after all. Not quite as exciting as a new 'real' album, but it's still something to get excited about.

I'll get it, too, but just as mp3 download! ;-) Wink
I think it's time for PG to make real new studio album and after that getting back to Genesis as the rumours talk.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I`m not too sure about the Ardade Fire cover. He forgot about a Rob Zombie cover.

C`mon Pete give us something new. No doubt one of these tracks will be plastered all over classic rock and AM radio stations. Think I`ll hold off on this one.

And Arcade Fire's song is "My Body is a cage"? That's beautiful! Oh, I can't wait now, even for that one song. I'm not too sure of the Radiohead song 'Street Spirit'. But 'My Body is a Cage' is beyond words.

Arcade Fire ? Where`s th barf bag? What has got into the man`s head ? Is going absolutely mad? Why not cover some Mariah Carey or Britney Spears while he`s at it ?

Well, if he has to do an album of covers at all, It's preferable to cover Radiohead than Mariah Carey, dont you think..
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I'll get this for the Heroes cover alone.

I'll admit, the lyrics to 'My Body is a Cage' is less than creative, but I can see good things with it for Peter. It's almost like 'here comes the flood' if done properly. (don't knock it unless you've heard it Tongue )

Why do they keep showing pictures of Peter from the "So' era?

I'm mixed on this. I'd love to have some new Peter Gabriel.

Would be sweet if it has Robert Fripp on guitar.

If anyone's interested, Gabriel is apparently on BBC1's "The One Show" tonight, no doubt this new album will be discussed.
