Best to worst Savatage albums 1. Dead Winter Dead 2. Gutter Ballet 3. Hall of the Mountain King 4. Edge of Thorns 5. Sirens 6. Handful of Rain 7. Streets 8. Poets and Madmen 9. Wake of Magellen 10. Power of the Night 11. The Dungeons are Calling 12. Fight for the Rock let's hope there is a new album to throw into that list at some point. |

Yeah, they kind of teased me this year.. Their website eluded that they were going to do something special for the 25th year anniversary, which I was really hoping on a new studio album.. but they are not, the band is already into their seasonal thing with TSO.. so, nope nothing for us, but TSO has a new album "Night Castle" |

And i don't think a new Savatage will come soon either. TSO is planning a European tour in Spring. Meanwhile Jon Oliva is busy with JOP.
would you prefer Oliva or Zachary Stevens as the singer? or both? |

i prefer Oliva to Stevens. I can only say for these albums i've owned, here are my favorites 1. Gutter Ballet 2. Dead Winter Dead 3. Streets/ Edge of thorns (tie) 4. Hall of the Mountain King 5. I used to prefer Zak over Jon until I saw JOP live and Jon belted out several classic Savatage numbers including some "Zak" songs - truly an amazing voice. However I would dearly love to see Circle II Circle live.
