I am astonished  Shocked

This band must be on PA, IMHO.

just listen to them:  http://www.myspace.com/steliosromaliadis

Band members are:

Stelios Romaliadis / flute, devices

David Jackson / tenor, alto & soprano saxophones, flute, loops  (yes, he's the person you think)

Lisa Isaksson / vocals, acoustic guitar, flute, glockenspiel, percussion (scheck her on album with Comus' wootton)

Akis Boyatzis / vocals, bass guitar, piano, keyboards, electronics

Magnitophono / vocals, keyboards, samples

Nikos Fokas / mellotron, keyboards

The first and the only album "Distress Signal Code" was released in 2008.

Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/Distress-Signal-Code/dp/B002UCMII8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1260636737&sr=8-1

Darn, I carelessly lost my post.  It was suggested a year and a half ago (but not to any specific team): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=47998 (that topic being older is now locked as they get locked automatically after a time).

I listened to it before and found it very beautiful, and have listened again and still find it very beautiful and really like it.  I would like to see this in, and have wanted similar music in in the past (made a push for similar music to be included).  The question is, which category?  I would suggest that the Prog Folk team have a listen.  Some would lament the lack of rock based on the samples, though at amazon, interestingly, it's labelled as

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Hmmmm, now checking but as you say they possess less rock elements I feel upon their MySpace samples honestly...good folksy stuffs though.

As I see no one is interested in this group's works.

Are there any discussions about adding?

I seriously doubt they will be accepted in Prog-Folk. However, I'd really like to see this outfit (which is really a solo musician, Stelios Romaliadis, with guests like David Jackson) included in our database. I have the album, which I also reviewed for Progressor, and believe they highly deserve to be here.

Don't know if this is an issue in this particular case - but generally I think it's rather interesting how one's perceptions of prog start changing when you're exposed to quite a lot of contemporary prog on a regular basis :-)

Good album.  Actually, I thought this band had been added, quite surprised to see that it hasn't.  The slow tempo and lack of percussion and guitar might not suit some tastes, but 100% Prog nonetheless.
