Great band.  Been looking forward to the new album for quite a while now.

Visit the Octopus myspace page http://www.myspace.com/ampcorp for a listen to seven of the songs to appear on the album.

Definitely a power trio

Just listening to some- it's good, but I completely fail to see how it's psychedelic or space rock.

So do I, it's straight up heavy rock and fupping roll (with progressive elements mind), and the wall of sound created is phenomenal.

Apparently Sel uses 6 amplifiers to get the sound he wants or something, so they are certainly aptly named.

I'd say New Prog/Alternative/Hard Rock really. But I know little about Genres.LOL

The Octopus sounds bloody terrific, pretty damn Psychedelic and Progressive if you ask me.
