I was searching progarchives and was sort of surprised to not find Makajodama listed in the archives yet. I am sure that many prog listeners here have heard of their activity and most recent self-titled CD release. The addition might not have occurred since this band is so new, but then again maybe people haven't heard of them yet.

Also, Nicklas Barker from Anekdoten is playing live bass for them.

I've found out about them through Laser's Edge (who released their album) and that prompted to check out their Myspace. Interesting mix of styles, not sure where to add to here, but definitely belong.

I listened to the album, so I'm familiar with the music, even if far from decided on it.

Let's try it for Eclectic first.

Good band, and my impression is Eclectic.

Makajodama cleared for Eclectic.  Would you like to prepare the addition (bio, band picture), Will?  You could it PM it to me and I could add it for you if you like. Otherwise, I expect to have some free time late this evening and I think I could prepare the addition then. Thanks.  Great suggestion!

It will be the first addition that I have had responsibility for, but I feel pretty confident about it, thanks!

Great! It's appreciated, and, as with some other things, your first time is often the best most memorable.

Willie, as Greg (Logan) said, Makajodama are approved, but I must say this band is incredible! Thumbs up for the excellent suggestion.

Well it's my pleasure to introduce the band. I follow Anekdoten pretty closely - and Swedish prog for that matter - and hearing about Nicklas Barker's involvement convinced me to check it out. I definitely think they're on to something!

Alright, Makajodama is finally added and their albums included. I just purchased their self-titled album and expect to review it soon.

I really like Anekdoten, so you've got my interest.

About 2 weeks ago we interviewed Nicklas Barker, a fellow of a certain Mathias Danielsson, with whom I had an opportunity to talk about My Brother The Wind, a common project of Mathias and Nicklas. Mathias also has a band called Makajodama, which we spend a lot of time discussing, as well as a country rock band called The Usual Suspects. We also talked about his other projects, future plans and collecting vinyl records! Check this interview with Mathias HERE!
