Hello Treasured Hunters,
Just a quick update to all things TToL.
2009 finished amazingly with a sold out gig at the Rocket Room with Eleventh He Reaches London, Orogeny and The Silent World. Everything went to plan and we had an amazing time. Thanks to everyone who came down. Here is a snippet from Drum Media's review:
"Where to start with tonights headliners Tangled Thoughts of Leaving though? Ridiculous, avante-garde, progressive, metally, lounge jazz... They seem to defy logical explanations each time heard. Pulling a large and very eager crowd from the far left of musical taste centres, tonights audience were not disappointed. How these guys remember and reproduce so tightly their set, whilst appearing to feel every note and not create a distance between their music and the audience, is beyond me. With an amazing band and possibly the best drummer in Perth, they are a band of paradoxes; heavy without relying on guitar, stupidly technical without being pretentious, challenging but not boring. They must be seen to be believed."

Onwards to 2010. This will mark the year of TToL's debut full length album release. We are currently working hard on finishing off the writing and will be starting the recording process soon. So all things considered, it should be out around June give or take a month. We have plenty of lovely/special things planned for it's release, and we will be trying to keep you up to date through myspace/facebook/youtube and hopefully a new website soon.
Label Hunting To help out with the release of the album, we are very keen to talk to any labels that may be interested in getting us out in the great wide world. No matter how big or small, or where you are on planet Earth, if you are a label we would love to hear from you! (That should cover about 0.0001 of people who read this. ) We are especially keen to get the record out and distributed in stores/online in Europe, USA, UK, Japan and Australia.
On the live front, we will be keeping fairrrrly quiet unless something great pops up - but expect a few special shows between now and the album release, and then an Australian tour later in the year.
That is about all. Please hound us if we do not keep you updated well/frequently enough. We are very excited about this year, should be fantastic.
