Hey guys,
Obviously Steve's my lord and saviour...I'm rather young though and I've only seen him twice. Any older folk have any fond memories of his glorious seventies days, when he was THE best guitarist alive?

I can't tell that he's lost anything from that time. . .after all, he played in both sets on the Asia/Yes portion of the current tour.

My favorite live Howe is his solo "Pulling Strings" tour from the mid-90s. I happened to catch him at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. His arrangements for guitar of material from the totality of his career were revelatory--check out the version of "My White Bicycle" on the above-named CD.
