Wow! Kohntarkosz' got the least votes? Its my favorite, by far. Just perfect. There's loads of fantastic music on both KA and E-Re but I'm having a hard time with the moments of joyous gospel feel. Especially on KA.

Really love these all, but when have to choose, it´s Emehntehtt-Re. Hhai in it is one big reason, but it´s so great as a whole too!

KA, pröhbäblysz.
My favorite Kohnnetarte (and my intro to Magma) is on the live BBC 74.

Nothing can beat Kohntarkosz, er, at least I thought nothing could beat it, until........E-Re appeared ! K.A is excellent (bar the hallelujah section near the end, which makes me cringe), but E-Re blows me away. The ‘Zombies’ section just kills. This one, and Sl*g Tanz give their 70’s triumphs a run for their money.

| Agree on KA. It eventually grew on me but the section you mention plus the section where I swear to God they are singing, "Be, Be Impossible! Feed Me a Popsicle!". But "ËR" is flawless. Seeing Vander sing Hhäi in San Francisco back in 99 just floored me. Changed me from a casual fan to a devotee.

KA for me followed by E-Re, count me amongst those that prefer the Hhai version of K.

The distorted organ solo early on Side 2 of Kohntarkosz reminds me of Mike Ratledge. What a flight !!
