SINDELFINGEN

Odgipig

LP

ANAZITISI Records ARLP 70-39F

We represent one of the rarest private pressings ever came from UK.

Sindelfingen's "Odgipig" is a fine example of highest quality, british progressive rock. With a slight folk influence and an artistic approach of symphonic rock and classic music, "Odgipig" has 3 long & complex tracks as well as 3 shorter ones, all characterized by multi-time signatures and rhythm changes. The "classic" line-up of guitar-bass-drums is augmented by a fourth member who handles the glockenspiel and the oscillators (you will not find mellotrons or keyboards here).

The album was recorded at Medway Organs Studio and pressed at the legendary Deroy. Sindelfingen the band (Richard Manktelow: vocals, guitars – Mark Letley: vocals, bass, guitars, recorders – Roger Woods: glockenspiel, oscillators – Roger Thorn: drums) collectively produced the album in 1973.

Originals are extremely rare (R5 category) and cost a small fortune.

Our reissue is strictly limited to 400 black & 100 coloured copies. It shares the original cover and labels artwork and original lyric inserts (x2). Extra triptych-insert with band bio. Fully authorized and licenced. With the, much appreciated, help of founding member Richard Manktelow. 180gr vinyl as usual. PVC protective outersleeve.

NO MAN'S LAND

The drowning desert

LP

ANAZITISI Records ARLP 10-41

No Man’s Land, the psych-rock band from Athens, Greece, has a new album ready. Their 3rd by ANAZITISI Records and 5th in total. It’s called “The Drowning Desert” and consists of five medium to extended length tracks in which the band explores the boundaries between psychedelia, prog, free jazz and wherever their hearts and minds lead them. NML’s sound conjures vistas of shimmering beauty, nightscapes at once soothing and foreboding, and a sense of ongoing motion – always within the context of actual songs. A must-have listening experience.

Probably their best and more trippy album till today…

BARBIE'S DEAD

Enough space to dream

LP

ANAZITISI Records ARLP 90-42

Barbie’s Dead began in 1993 in Athens, Greece when four guys decided to form a rock'n'roll band. In December 1993 and October 1994 they made two demos with four tracks in each one. Next year, they released their sole single with two garage tracks (Room No 9 / Sin Creeps In) through Fifth Dimension Records. The band performed at many venues mostly in Athens and in Kiato, Korinthos and Patra doing mainly their own material though sometimes they did covers like “Walking on my grave” and “Dagger Moon” from Dead Moon, “When I Was Young” from The Animals, “Daydream Nightmare” from Grace Slick & Great Society as well as an instrumental garage-surf fast version of Stavros Xarchakos' "Annabel (Ένα Πρωινό)" -a greek pop tune frοm the 60’s. In 1996, after they added Kostis Giftakis on organ, they started a record session with brand new tracks. Nine of these recordings are included in this vinyl edition and six of them have never been released before. The 10th track, “Curse (Something About It)”, is from the 1994 demo session. The band split up in late1997.

Barbie’s Dead lyrics are mostly about broken love stories and people in difficult situations who try to find their way out.

Their music has influences from the 60's & early 80's garage rock and the 60's american psychedelic scene. "Enough space to dream" is filled with aggressive- spitting-trippy vocals, fuzzy & distorted guitars, swirling organs (farfisa & hammond), powerful rhythm section, reversed tapes, and lots of echoes, reverbs, wah-wah, flangers & sound effects.

A deal for every "dirty garage" listener with psychy requests….!!!

"This is the place…this is the time…no filthy games…no f**kin’ lies"

Limited to 150, hand-numbered, coloured copies. Includes 4-pages insert with lyrics, story, photos and psychedelic artwork and a reprinted poster (A3) from 1994.

From the original master tapes.

180gr vinyl as usual. PVC protective outersleeve.
