I am looking for space-rock with a slight touch of neo-prog in the vein of Ship Of Fools, a band that released two albums in 1993 and 1994 and whose keyboardist, Les Smith (who later joined Cradle Of Filth and Anathema) compiled to release in 2002 'let's get this mother outta here'. Fortunately, I found it for 7 euros in a second-hand shop. I am really impressed by this compilation and would give it 5 star without hesitation. I am already aware of the usual suspects like Ozric Tentacles, Gong, Eloy, Rick Wright, Hawkwind, Porcupine Tree. Please recommend some more obscure stuff if you know any.

i got that album and probably the closed one is ozric tentacles. poblaby you should check astra '' The Weirding '' which is really good

Yes, Astra's "The Weirding" is a good suggestion in this direction.

Also, this is a French band you should check:
