This thread's purpose is simple. To discuss Czech bands Eastern European bands (Czech Republic, Slovakia and I believe that Romania, Croatia, former Yugoslavia, Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine and few others) that can be added here. The purpose of this thread is to find someone, who will be able to consult with me adding many bands, will be able to listen samples and will have time to do this. Because with "exotic" or "small" (my country's case) countries like Czech Republic, there is big problem of adding anything, because there are no samples, or not in English internet. In Czech, they sometimes are about Czech, but not in all cases.

I also wish to see some suggestions of Czech bands. If you know them, go post it here please. Anything sounding Prog will do. Even slight glimpses of Prog, but don't suggest typical Rock, Metal bands, because I personally know hundreds of them, so I'm not interested in common bands, but rather in Czech Prog. Even being from Czech Republic, I don't know everything.

The bigger the country is, the easier it is to add something
+
More artistic freedom (they're not banned, prosecuted, interrogated and suppressed by government) means more diverse bands which in turn equals to more Prog bands.
+
It has something to do with culture of certain country, but I'm sure that Czech culture is interesting with wide varieties to find a lot of Prog bands.

REWARDS for those willing to help me:

1)You will experience I dare to say unknown music from "not one of the major Prog countries". We're just 10.000.000 people, but we have enough interesting music to satisfy your needs. So that's it, new experiences.
2)Good feeling from helping good case. It will be hard, for all of us who will participate, but the results will be there and I think it's quite challenging to explore whole new country of Prog music, isn't it ?

I may post in this thread, because these bands have one thing in common. Nobody knows them here and they are all Czech. Or make separate threads, but I would prefer first choice.

So what do you think about this idea ? I've tried to do this about half a year ago, but I abandoned it after not making it possible to work out something. The important thing is being interested in this and having time. But I suppose that after all, we all are doing this "PA thing" for free.

Yes, they're from Yugoslavia (so it's today's ... ?), so let's focus on Czech (or Slovak, after all, I have access to both countries) bands. And anyway, Buldozer is already added, so...

Jablkoň, let's suggest this band, it will be interesting.

Fixed. For next three messages. That's real problem, because I don't want to delete them, but I'll have to.

Well, it's my way of talking with several people from PA, I don't have other ways to talk with you guys.

I hope no one wanted to talk with me meanwhile. I don't know for how long this has been like that, with 500/500.

You can send your message now.

Buldožer is from Slovenia, Alberto probably mistaken the country for Slovakia. It's happening.

All the time. Slovenia sounds like Slovakia (and in Czech it is SLOVENSKO & SLOVINSKO, so just one letter different) and Slovakia was part of Czecho. Well, I'll suggest Jablkoň this evening (now 11:39 AM).

Hell, I've suggested two bands right now and I plan to suggest others too. Let's watch Heavy Prog thread in Collab zone Moris :-)

Marty, as far as I know, Krasne Nove Stroje are under evaluation of Crossover, so it might take a while.
