Guy LeBlanc is a Canadian keyboardist/organist famous from playin' in "Camel", his own band "Nathan Mahl" and "Mahl Dynasty" project. His plays jazz-rock music with many symphonic influences. Lots of Hammond, Moog & didigtal synths and pianos.
He recorded two albums:
"Subversia"(1999) (very similar to Nathan Mahl music recorded with collages from this band in fact)
"All the Rage" (2004) (much different album, lots of different influences, even harsh-growling in one song!. Recorded by Guy LeBlanc alone. He plays all instruments there)

There are bits of Jazz-Rock and Symphonic prog in the samples, but most of the music is a sort of easy-listening stuff. I'll notify the JRF team but don't get your hopes high on this one.

This is pure Symphonic prog for example, but it gets lost in the other stuf... |

Maybe that samples on myspace aren't very good....
I can assure you that Guy LeBlanc isn't "easy listening".

One of you guys would do mr. LeBlanc a service by uploading some of his better and representative pieces as full YouTube tracks, then

In fact I've found these bands log time before. I just decided it's time for them to be included on PA until I have some more free time to post these suggestions. Now or never :-).

Any progress about this one?
It would be really strange if Guy LeBlanc famous from Nathan Mahl and Camel who also recorded 2 great solo prog albums wasn't included on progarchives....

^ I think GLB deserves a place here too. Let's find out from Alex if the J/R/F Team reached a decision. I would be happy to take him to another genre team for evaluation if he is not approved

I don't know what happened with the suggestion, I'll try to look it up. It would be a pity to miss having a worthy prog act on PA just because of minor problems.

Guy Lebland should be put in the Cross over section, jazz rock section, prog metal, and progressive, he h fooled everyone by mixing the music styles. He is working on a third solo cd, maybe we will have a better opinion after that.
