Yahoo ran an article regarding what Roger Waters is up to these days that I thought might be of interest to prog fans.  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100429/ap_en_ot/us_music_q_a_roger_waters

I'm surprised the interviewer asked about a Pink Floyd reunion. Surely the death of Rick Wright put an end to that.

And still, Waters keeps blaming Gilmour for not wanting a tour.

And Green Day, wtf? Confused

Yeah, and Roger didn't even mentioned that in his answer!

Well, there was The Final Cut without Wright...
and ofcourse he was sorely missed on that album.
But I guess it is plausible to make a Pink Floyd reunion, however, now it's not only Gilmour not wanting to play with Pink Floyd, but also not wanting to use the name without Wright. Still, keyboards could be taken by Harry Waters, and so the name would remain with the family.

That Green Day question came out of left field. Confused

Regardless, this is very exciting news. It's been over 15 years since his last album. And while Amused to Death was certainly a high note to end his career on, I would like to think he's got one more album before he retires.

Amused to Death was simply an incredible genius of work, and it would be criminal if the great man could not follow it up with at least one last effort.

Don't forget Ca Ira. If he has to do something like that, I think it's better if he gives up.

Wow, do people have a problem with Green Day or what. LOL A question about the possible Broadway version of the Wall followed by a question about another rock album that's just had its Broadway version done. The pattern is quite simple to me.
