Just to introduce a little atmosphere.Big smile

I love Camel. They are more than music to me. But in this case, I canīt difference well the voice of Bardens in Camel albums. I must confess that this one is the unique song I knew, with total security, was sung by him.

Anybody can help me to find the rest of the songs with him in the main voces? I think there are not too many.

Thank you very much.Wink

Hard to say. I can't even tell them apart when I see them, let alone when they sing.
Really, I would swear it's Latimer behind that keyboard Tongue

I am just coming into the forum cause I was listening to Breathless Lp and Wing And A Prayer seemed to me as a song with Bardens on vocals.

Thank you very much for the information, martinprog77.Wink

Yes, the sound is from the LP recordings. But the video is very good.

If you listen to "Free Fall" from Mirage sung by Bardens, then bend an ear to "The White Rider" with vocals from Latimer, there is a clear difference in the tonal quality of their vocals. Bardens pronounces words with a more precise nature, while Latimer slurs his words with a melodic tone which sounds a bit more bluesy and sustaining. There were times that I heard Latimer singing and thought for a moment, this sounds like David Gilmour. Sort of the way that Gilmour's voice sounds on his debut release. Peter Barden's voice really doesn't come close to sounding like that.

The deepness of Latimer's voice is what seperates his sound from Bardens. Even though Bardens may sound an octive lower than what one would expect in "Spirit Of the Water", it still does not surpass the deepness of Andrew Latimer's vocals. It is easy to detect after listening to about 12 Camel titles. Many of the songs included on "Stationary Traveller" in which he takes the lead vocal, are the true Latimer. Much darker than how he sang on Nude. Sample tracks from the early recordings when Bardens and Latimer were working together but, also check out Latimer's vocals on the later releases and it will become easier to identify him.

"Dougie" on bass didn't so soar like one Richard Sinclair did after joining the lads. As for the main comparison, Latimer and Bardens complimented each other on vocals, and it was too bad they had a falling out in the end. Approve

I kinda disagree, I mean Sinclair played beautiful bass when joining Camel from Rain  Dances to Breathless , but Ferguson's bass playing on the earlier albums ( Air Born springs to mind, Lunar Sea) is exceptionalClap
