Walrus was a band founded by bassist Steve Hawthorn in 1969, who released only one eponymous album, in 1970. It is currently one of the most sought after records off the Deram record company, and very sought after in general. One of the things that made the album so notable is the cover version of Traffic's Coloured Rain. While their main style could be Heavy Prog, they add a bit of Jazz and Funk into their music, creating an epic mashing of music!

John SCATES: Guitars
Steve HAWTHORN: Bass
Barry PARFITT: Keyboards
Nick GARB and Roger HARRISON: Drums
Noel GREENWAY: Vocals
Don RICHARDS: Trumpet
Roy VACE: Tenor sax
Bill HOAD: Alto and baritone Saxes, flute
