Prog Sphere is a blogzine designed for all devotees of progressive rock/metal and its subgenres as its commons. If you consider yourself being a fan of progressive rock/metal, folk rock, RPI (Rock Progressivo Italiano), RPE (Rock Progressivo Español), jazz, fusion or any similar genre, you're welcome to Prog Sphere.

The blog with reviews and stuff is located here, although there are only few reviews at this time and the first part of an interview with Mr. Andy Tillison of The Tangent, but we're slowly getting bigger.

As an announcement I could say that we will very soon have second part of the interview with Andy, with appearance of the special guest, new The Tangent's bassist, Jonathan Barrett. Also, we have scheduled interviews with Ryo Okumoto of Spock's Beard, Nad Sylvan of Agents of Mercy, etc.

Keep progging!

Prog Sphere just completed an article concerning Bo Hansson's work (and life), as well as the artists/bands/albums that have been influenced by this truly prog legend. Find out more of Bosse's solo work, his collaboration with drummer Janne Karlsson and the artists/bands that inherited and discourse Bo Hansson's work. The article named Bo Hansson: A Retrospective with Eyes on the Future is on http://prog-sphere.blogspot.com/2010/05/bo-hansson-retrospective-with-eyes-on.html

R.I.P. Bo Hansson

Prog Sphere spoke recently with Alan Morse of Spock's Beard. We talked about SB’s new album, some previous releases, his connection with martial artist Chuck Norris and so on. So, put your favorite Spock’s Beard album in the deck, get comfortable, and read the words of Mr. Morse. Check it out on www.prog-sphere.com.

We at Prog Sphere are proud to present an interview we made with one of our musical idols, the songwriter/keyboardist/guitarist/lyricist/accordianist/otherstuffist of BEARDFISH! We tried to make the interview comprehensive, so it would be futile to attempt to plumb its depths in this despicable synopsis. Read and enjoy! Click HERE for the interview.

Prog Sphere has spoken recently with Nicklas Barker, a well-known name in Swedish progressive rock circles. He’s been working with the highly appreciated Anekdoten since 1991, but also he’s involved in other projects and bands. The last, but not least of them is My Brother The Wind, a psychedelic rock oriented project that came up as an improvisational journey. Find out what Nicklas says about it, but also do not miss the chance to find out what’s going on with Anekdoten. Enjoy! You can read the interview HERE.

Hi, I've just read and liked the interview, curious to know My Brother the Wind's music.
Sad to see he is not thinking on a new Morte Macabre album, but awesome to see Anekdoten will release a new record soon.

We'll have another interview concerning My Brother The Wind, with Mathias Danielsson soon. It's very nice record. Also, yeah, I would like to hear something new from Morte Macabre, been listening to Symphonic Holocaust last days, what a brilliant piece, a real gem.
