Just One - not 2 or 3 or a dozen .... ONE CHOICE!
no live albums just studio releases please.

I know that's brutal but let's see what we get here as a list...

Your ultimate prog masterpiece!

Mine?

The Human Equation by Ayreon. - its the first that springs into my head.

Ayreon The Human Equation album cover

Why? I never get sick of it and it intro'd me to full blown conceptual masterpieces.

For me Jacob's Ladder and Natural Science are the epitome of the genre.

Just one is hard, but I'll go with this:

Jean-Claude Vannier's L'enfant assassin des mouches.

Yeah, naked butts are a sure sign of Prog quality.  Interesting that this thread is still short and we already have two naked guy's butts on it and one with a guy whose ass is on fire. LOL

This is my very young son's favourite music from my collection (asks me to play it a lot):

I'm sure this changes for most of us all the time, but based on my album playing rotation the last couple years I'll call out this one:

"Peace is the only battle worth waging."
