Damn! That is hard, My Favourite prog album is a different album to what I consider a 'Prog Masterpiece'

Favourite Prog album although at the moment its a Prog metal album!(At the time of this post, Its always changing) - Pagan's Mind - Heavenly Ecstasy

Prog Masterpiece - Close to the Edge - Yes

It's a very tough choice between "Selling England by the Pound" from the old days and "Brave" from the "new" ( lol ) and because of me simply listening to it more I go for Marillion !!!
...I'm a musician/singer/songwriter, visit me on www.reverbnation.com/rupertlenz and there you can choose from 125 recordings you can listen to ( for free ) if you're not limited to prog-rock !

It is hard to choose just one; there are so many. But since no-one but Jean voted for Mother Gong's ""Fairy Tales" I will add a vote to that. It is an incredible album, but sadly way too little known.

BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue.

An amazingly complex and emotional album.

Illusions On A Double Dimple is my Number One Prog Masterpiece, and the main reason i got into progressive rock-after  decades of listening, it is still simply amazing!Thumbs Up
