For me, as I've stated before, Kansas was my "gateway" band into Prog. So, with that being the case, my perfect Prog album is:

My #1 Progressive Rock masterpiece album?

This one:

I could have picked Nursery Cryme just as easily, but, for me, I like the flow of Wind & Wuthering a lot better. Genesis are my favorite prog band anyway. I'll always pick them over Yes or King Crimson, but that's just my taste.

^ ... or In the Court? (despite your edit) Wink

In SABB: less improvs, more songs, which means more of the delightful vocal delivery from Mr. Wetton. Plus, I love the sound of the Mellotron flute. More of characteristic dissonance on the guitar. A lot more intensity. Just read my review.

So, it's like a 6/5 kind of record. It's showing 3/5 in the rating for my review because I was trying to be as objective with that rating as possible. All of my ratings and reviews are still "under construction", really. Not sure for how long I'm going to keep it that way, though, ... which is just a bad critique job, and I know that. I have other prior engagements to attend to a lot of the time.

Confused  Less Improvs?? on SABB(We'll Let You Know, The Mincer, Starless And Bible Black are all improvs) that's almost half the album. I edited In The Court because you had it on already on your list on a previous post, does that make sense Wink

OK, ... sorry ... lapse of judgment on my part. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the songs are better. I don't know how to explain it. Some kind of a magical quality. I don't think I have to make sense here. It's all good music, be that SABB or something else.
