When i listen to Din Within 2007 album " Awaken The Man ", I search in PA and find NOTHING. Why?  I think this is not good for PA to ignore this band. All of Prog elements in perfect shape found in this band, Perfect technics, Perfect melodies, complete Prog atmospher and use lovly voices of instruments make one of good prog products of 2007. Please check it. Thanks

Now checkin' his stuffs, thanks much.
Here are lots of progressive rock specialists who evaluate and add more and more artists, with various opinions and attitudes, as you know. Smile

Anyway, his album's CDBaby page is currently dead, what happened? Confused

Amazon.com samples ... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010ZP81K/ref=dm_sp_adp?ie=UTF8&qid=1197654537&sr=8-2
MySpace ... http://www.myspace.com/dinwithin

EDIT: After quick check of his short samples in Amazon.com, my honest impression is he's a great melody maker and performer full of mellow and pop essence tinged with progressive fragrance.
Cannot define him as a 100% progressive artist with only the samples, but he may be evaluated by Neo or Crossover methinks?

Sounds like excellent Neo, very based on the Symphonic sound. Similar to Transatlantic IMO. I'll ask the Neo team for an evaluation. Thumbs Up

Excellent suggestion! Clap

Thanks for the mentions and the support! We're very glad that you are enjoying our music. We're currently working on our followup album, as well as a track for a Yes Tribute. I'm happy to answer any questions. I don't know why our CDBaby page was down, but it's back up now - it must have been a temporary server problem at CDBaby.

Thanks again!

Hi mark. I want to know about Din Within line up and Future plan, I am from IRAN and I found your album with many troubles in IRAN. I have a question about your Prog music construction. When you decide to release album or song, you choose prog style OR you dont care about style but " You are Prog" and any things you play go to Prog side!!! Hmm I dont think you undrestand me and my English is not good yet!!
Thanks

Josh and I write our songs the way they come out; we don't necessarily "try" to write prog, but because we have listened to prog for a long part of our lives, it's natural that our songs have lots of progressive influences.

The one thing we're not trying to do is to write "pop" songs, obviously - they'd all be 3 minutes long!

We originally started working together simply for the experience, but we liked what we came up with and decided to release the album. We're glad we did - many people have given us positive feedback. It's not for everybody, but we expect and accept that.

Almost all of the songs are about ourselves, and personal growth and self-realization - the time while we were writing the album was a tough one for both of us.

I'm glad you are enjoying the album!
