Making a choice is kinda hard, isnt it? I know some of the bands arent rly prog but, who care, they are good. Personnaly, I'd choose Opeth Ghost Reveries cause everytime I see a poll with any Opteh song or album to choose from, i choose it Big smile. I'm totally addicted to Opeth... I can't wait to see what albums of these you like the most since most of them are my favorite metal albums

Blackwater Park, no doubt about it. (Although Ghost Reveries is a great album as well.)

It's looking pretty bleak for the others here, I think the drapery has already fallen.

I love The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, Images, Scenes, Still Life, and Cowboys from Hell. Such a hard choice...

Blackwater Park is unbelievably good! I would have voted for Atheist, too!

You're missing some key ones, but it's gotta be Crimson by Edge of Sanity. A truly underrated prog-death metal masterpiece, and one of my all-time favorite albums.

I voted for colors, for me it has the most variety in styles and even though I love black water park at certain points it drags.

Well there is Scenes From a Memory which is one of my all time favorite albums but hell, I gave my vote to Colors because it's just awesome as hell! White Walls is one of the best metal songs made on 21st century!

Also, awesome to see that you put August Burns Red in the poll, one of my favourites of recent times.t

Ghost Reveries, easy. Now had you included Cynic's Traced In Air album, this would have been a much tougher decision. I like a lot of the bands listed, but you listed very few albums by said bands that I felt were good enough to be chosen.

This time I obtain for non prog bands, so I've voted with Megadeth, Countdown is a great album, follow by Pantera - Cowboys my fav from them, excellent and full of great tunes and Testament - Practice what you preach is a great thrash album , technical metal.

Blackwater Park, but Pain of Salvations The Perfect Element beats them all.

Slaughter of the Soul. Far from being prog but undeniably one of the best metal albums of all time. It's the Reign In Blood of the 90's.
