Hey everyone, I was wondering if the group Harmonium is well known in the PA universe? I'm a Québecois (from Québec in Canada, just like Harmoniom) and everybody in here knows about Hamonium because it's probably the best group Quebec ever had, but I was wondering if lots of you knows it well. If you don't, i HIGHLY recommend you to listen to them, they are awesome!

I'm really sad that all you english ppl can't understand those lyrics, cause they are the best i've ever heard

this is only the end of the song ( my favorite one from Harmonium )

I hope you enjoy!

Yeah they are pretty widely known around here, I've only heard one album but it was excellent.

To the rest of the world: No.

In PA: YES!!!!

Their Fifth Season album even used to be in the PA top 10.  I think it's a masterpiece.  I haven't heard anything else from them, but based on that one album they are easily in my top 5 Symphonic Prog artists.

I guess it's fairly well known in PA, but people not interested in prog they would almost certainly not know about them. I do really love them, specially the 5th season album (Histoire sans paroles is really sublime). I still HAVE to get the CD's, but do have their music on MP3. And their singing in french does give their music a nice flavor, though I would love to know what they are saying. I'm glad they are very well known at least in their homeland.

Harmonium is not the most popular band, because it's not pop music. But in the PA world, they are well known. They have influenced some other Quebec bands like Jelly Fiche and Jacques Tom Rivest, who have done some nice recordings  that i highly recommend!
