Gonna have to go with Hell's Kitchen... Probably their best track for me.

A Change of Seasons for me, all his work on that track is brilliant. Another Day and The Best of Times were good options as well.

Where the hell is Bombay Vindaloo??? One of the best solos ever. If you have not heard it before, you NEED to do it instantly. This reply comes from a music lover with more than 2000 albums experience. So, trust me and do yourself a favour.

My favourites:
A Change Of Seasons Blind Faith In The Name Of God Octavarium Voices The Best Of Times The Spirit Carries On Goodnight Kiss
I chose Octavarium, simply because it's such an epic point of the song and the feeling you get once it's over. Just amazing...;

For me, John Petrucci finest soloing is on Under a Glass Moon and Lines in the Sand.
I'll go for the underrated track from Falling Into Infinity.

Under A Glass Moon for me... though it was a tough choice with Hell's Kitchen and Lines in The Sand...
Also Bombay Vindaloo is one of the most boring jamming from DT... Sorry...

I don't understand why This Dying Soul is not on the list, it's one of JP's most impressive solo's. Anyway voted for Fatal Tragedy - a preety nice solo as well

I generally find Petrucci's solos overly metal and pointlessly difficult but not in a prog way but The Razors Edge is wonderful.

I know exactly what you're saying... every time I finish that song I have to take 3 or 4 minutes of silence afterward to take in all of its awesomeness.

Well, DT is a metal band. What do you expect?
Anyway, I voted for Goodnight Kiss. I find this solo very moving.
